Springlike....

What an amazing day! From First light, the Mistlethrush was singing,  a sign of Spring, although another of its names is Stormcock! Finally tracked him down and got some shots. Coming back through the wood, was really surprised to see the first Lapwing back on the nesting ground on the marsh. To cap it all, there were a pair of Squirrels mating in the trees!
The sun shone all day and on another walk found a pair of Stonechats.
