Not sure the significance, but Radio announced, recently, that, according to research following the observation of London bus-drivers in the '50s, sitting down for 10+ hours per day can add as much as 8 years to your "Body age", not to be confused with your "Biological age".
Due to Al's Atrial fibrillation, she wasn't good for much, other than sitting, except for the odd gentle "day off" and shopping.
Retrospectively ... I wonder if they put a little personal note on them all, or if it was just because the lady remembered us from the shop?
