Heron on Swan Pond

I was in Kingston for my second Tai Chi class this morning, and while in the vicinity, I took a drive through the park at Swan Pond.  Since the place was fairly deserted I took the liberty of stopping in the middle of the road to take a few photos (from the car) of the heron sitting on a log in the shallows.  I knew if I parked and got out, he’d be long gone.

As it was he suffered through 4-5 shots before  getting nervous and flying off, which gave me this one, the best of the bunch.  

I’ve got some back-blipping to do and catching up with journals as well, but it’s probably not going to get done this weekend...hubby is home for a few days so time is at a premium!
