Sequoia Grove, Belair Park

Today I said, "let's take a walk in the park and do a few photos".  30 minutes later we were in the Belair Park where I shot photos and video for the next 2 hours.

It was truly amazing in there today. From giant Sequoias to bird life to koalas, bees and ferns, plus many native Aussie trees. We will go back again next weekend with extra lenses and a tripod.

The Sequoia Grove was planted 55 years ago as a memorial to the American and Australian soldiers who died in WWII and Korea while fighting together. It is tucked away in the deepest corner of the park.

You can see my closeup of a Sequoia trunk and Paladian in her extras here.
