A Day Around Gloucester

Back Blip

I spent a fantastic day with good friend and Blipper June Fox.

She drove to our house, where we had a quick coffee and then set off for Painswick Rococo Gardens. We didn't hang around, as there wasn't much to photograph.
Gloucester Cathedral was our next stop and what an incredible building this is. We paid a small fee and were given a badge that allowed us to take photographs. Unfortunately, the cloisters were closed off as they were filming Young Shakespeare but the costumes of the actors were superb.
The Quayside was our next destination. We didn't have long before it started to go dark but in the water was a group of young people, dressed in wet suits and paddling around on surfboards. They thought that we were professional photographers and came over to ask if we'd take their photos. A couple of the young men even did headstands on their boards!
We finished off the evening with dinner on the quayside. The food was delicious and we were the last to leave :)
