Catching the light

A duck among many on the reservoir today.

Lots of walking and much discussion and anxiety about Donald Trump .
A deep sense of foreboding . We didn't follow the inauguration but when the BBC news reported his speech , the cat jumped up in front of the TV as if she was waiting to contribute her timely hiss .
The last time she did this was when autumn watch was showing a film of mice !
The world holds its breath.
Very disturbing - very dark days for our world.
