A cheerful flower

The first thing I see in the morning when I open my kitchen blinds is this cheerful little flower outside the window. The plant seems to bloom all the year round regardless of the frost and seems to be happy in its pot. I was given it about ten years ago and I have forgotten its name. Does anyone know what it is called?
