The Seven Stile Circular

A cold but lovely day. This afternoon we did the 'Seven Stile Circular' walk (don't Google it; it's just what we call it). It's not a long walk; only about 40 minutes but nice and varied, including a farm lane, a wood and several fields. And, of course, seven stiles. There used to be eight but the one next to this gate was replaced by a kissing gate a few years ago. Even more recently the kissing gate was replaced by an ordinary gate which inevitably means some walkers leave it open. Thankfully there is no livestock in this particular field to wander out.
