The Bridge

A grand day for a drive in the countryside. L and I headed for Callander .... for most of the journey we were driving through thick mist.  The sun was there and tried very hard to break through the mist.

We enjoyed our walk along to the falls. The Bracklinn Falls are a series of water falls north-east of Callander on the course of the Keltie Water.

In 2004, the steel footbridge over the falls was washed away by severe floods. In October 2010 a new wood and copper footbridge was hauled into place by hand because the location made it impossible to use a crane.
