St Gregory's Church, Heckingham

We've been to Lowestoft today visiting my Mum, and having a nice lunch at The Spring Tide...

Decided to come home a different way and took a detour to look at St Margaret's Church, Hales.  But we followed the wrong 'Historic Church' signs and found St Gregory's Heckingham instead.  These two churches are very similar both mostly dating to 12 Century, both having round towers and both having an Apse. It is thought that the Norman carving for the doorways is by the same mason.

Definitely coming back here and to St Margarets to spend more time on them.
