Lighthouse

This lighthouse is next to the hotel I'm working from for the next few days.

It's on the shore on the outskirts of Istanbul, Turkey.

I'm on the 12th floor overlooking the busy bay as ships wait to pass through the Straights of Istanbul which connects the Aegean Sea with the Black Sea.

This side is Europe, the other is the western edge of the Asian continent.

Last time I was here, quite a few years ago, I was about 3.5 hours over the bridge out in the country.
