Women's March/ Seattle

What a glorious, peaceful, colorful way to celebrate all sorts of good things in this country…. a much better feel than yesterday.… And to know there are all these people in our own city who feel similar!  (Helicopters flew overhead for hours last night as marches converged on the UW which did have 1 bizarre shooting..) Friend Mike and her daughter and I headed downtown and met the beginning of the march so I’m not sure how long it was behind us.   30,000 were predicted in the beginning…. but then I heard 100,000.   Eek.   Guess it will tell on the news tonight….so many great signs and hats, young, old, women, men, some impressive performances by some native americans.  Totally peaceful as far as we could see…. Walked to the Seattle center and then home….with no rain.    A lovely day!   How can that person in DC not listen to all these messages all over the world??

And soon we’re out to a dinner with friends we see once a year or so….lots of talking…

extra--yes, there's my pussyhat.
