Long mid 'Summer' lunch

We had an Italian long lunch today, 6 tiny courses lasting 5 hours. The unfortunate thing was the weather. The marquee was so close to lifting off, and the temperature had everyone in their coats with blankets wrapped around them. I don't think I have ever seen a 'summer' this crap!
