Laird's Loch

Forced ourselves to go out for a walk today after lunch, as the earlier snow had all but melted and the mist was clearing slowly.  So glad we did, in spite of a very cold start.

We drove to the car park by the Laird's Loch, half way up the Sidlaw Hills and not far from home and then walked to the Loch and on through the woods in a circular route taking 1 1/2 hours.  Not many people out, as the mist had looked much worse from lower down, but there was hardly any round the Loch itself.

Many of the beautiful fir trees were still sprinkled with snow higher up and dripped on our heads as they thawed:-)

A few extras from the walk and showing the snow first thing this morning.
