Wintery walk

I love the golden afternoon deep winter light on a cold, bright day.  Wrapped up robustly against the freezing cold, the dogs seemed unaware of the sub zero temperatures. Roxy even skidded on the ice on the edge of the river to get a drink..
The light on these thistles was just perfect for a quick phone camera snap.
