Blenheim Constitutional

What a simply glorious day it's been. 

I tried to do some housework but the beautiful sunshine and blue sky was calling me, so Mr E and I set off in the car with no destination in mind. 

We ended up at Blenheim Palace, parking at the Combe gate, to avoid the crowds. It was extremely busy but then we expected it to be, as folk obviously had the same idea as us. 

This image is one taken on our way back to the car. It was meant to be a test shot to see how the light would look but I thought that the people added to the image. I particularly liked the rim light around their hair. 

The extra I've added is because I loved the tree roots and thought that a mono conversion would add to the texture.
