Natural Selection

I am interested in the natural world order of things. I remember reading Gregor Schneider (German artist) talking of wanting to follow a person in the process of dying because 'My target is to show the beauty of death.' There's a thought.

Recently I blipped two trees at the end of their lives. It felt somewhat beautiful as well as sad. I am interested by the thought of what we reap in this life now and how we plough into the fields of the world something that is both tangible and will live on after we have died.

Every day we celebrate the fact that we live here on Blip. I love that very much. I wonder too if this celebration also touches at the very core of our need to put something of our inner self into the tapestry of our world and, in so doing, we seek to leave a lasting legacy that matters.

I also just like to mess around with a photo......
