Celebration

At this morning dancing class, we celebrated Robert Burns, the Scottish poet from  Ayrshire who is well revered hereabouts.  It was a lovely morning of dances with tunes to a Burns theme.

Home for the afternoon, making mince and tatties, and after dinner I am helping at the Guides, as they are having a ceilidh also to celebrate Burns.  Burns Night is actually on the 25th January and there are many events in the town over this week.

A much nicer day today although colder, -2C in the morning and icy, but sunny.   Now in the afternoon it has got duller, but still very cold.
