The Demon Drop was a big polished slide in an amusement park in Cornwall.
I've just Googled it & after all these years it's still going. I doubt the Demon Drop is still there.

It used to be 3 different sizes of well polished timber slides. A vertical drop at first then a slide out. The biggest being "The Demon"

I have no idea how old is am in this pic but judging from hair cut (yes I had some once) must have been about 13/14.

Might have to revisit Helston Cornwall one day to find The Demon.
