1978 Motobecane "Grand Touring"

My son's friend had a vintage bicycle that needed a home.
The Motobecane came home with me yesterday.
A much loved bicycle, meticulously maintained in its day,  it actually is in quite excellent condition, but has not been ridden in many, many years.
I can hardly wait to begin removing the thick layers of dust and grime restoring this fine old bicycle to its former glory.
It will be my bicycle restoration project this coming Spring.
