NEW TERRITORY:

I am standing next to the top garage, overlooking the middle lawn. These two Cornus trees, 'Rainbow' don't have the spectacular Spring flowers of 'Nuttallii' or 'Eddie's White Wonder' but they make up for it in Summer with their beautiful variegated leaves. It's a pretty corner.

All the pundits are picking Federer to win the Australian Open (which would make me very happy) but if I were a betting person (which I'm not ) I'd put my money on the German, Mischa Zverev.

Well, we had one day of Summer, & now we're back to the horrid wind. At least it dried the washing in a twink.
