Migrant in Moscow

A sign of our times

I was amused by the new signs at the State Tretyakov Gallery at Krimsky Val.  Previously, there might have been signs indicating no smoking and no camera flash, etc.  Now the management has moved into modern times and the bans include roller blades and selfie sticks.  No dogs either (who brings a dog to an art gallery?).  Another interesting sign of our times is the Mandarin script which is now firmly ensconced as the third language in many public places in Russia.  A nice touch and a nod to the Chinese tourists who have boosted the Moscow tourist economy in recent years.
