Wainwright Marathon

The forecast today was for clear blue skies, so there were a few Wainwright's we had been planning.

Started by driving down to Seathwaite, only to find the road was closed for repairs, so parked at Seatoller, adding a mile each way to what was already going to be a biggish walk.

Started with an ascent of Great End, by which time the cloud level had dropped and there was almost no visibility. Then went on to Esk Pike, then to Allen Crags, and ended up going over Glaramara before dropping down to Seathwaite and back to Seatoller - a total of 14.8 miles and 4000 feet of climbing - one of the longest walks I've ever tried. Three new Wainwright's for me, one for Deb:

John: 203/214
Deb:   204/214
