As dawn awakens.....

....clouds rippled through the sky, softly pink, richly pink, a touch of golden as a gentle warm breeze stirred the trees. Hot and fiery the sky exploded as the dawn chorus struck the first chords - Good morning!

And just above the clouds in a patch of clear dark sky, a sliver of the moon peeked out, small and almost insignificant as it slowly rises, not long after 5.30am.

A quiet day followed, mostly home with a few jobs done. It's been warm and windy, a few large spots of moisture as clouds rolled on through.
