A slice of Lesley's life

* or Magjeeczwrtqytfdbczxsaakk if you live in the country, as J does - that's his house on the table with the mini. Anna lives in the town, though must have a good job as her house (with the blue convertible) seems to be almost as big as Jackson's.

Good old blip has provided today's entertainment with a flashback to last year's creation providing the inspiration. Naturally there have been some 'improvements' made and possibly not surprisingly these are Olympic-inspired (gymnastics arena and swimming pool) and card school-inspired (front of shot is the Casino).

Gentle start to the morning after a predictably late-ish night of terrace chat and some not too hurried packing for our friends. We all left mid-morning, them to head to the airport and us to head into town for provisions for our final week (such a difference shopping for 4 than 8 - just the one trolley!) and then a fine Swedish-Spanish tapas lunch at Plaza de Higuitos. Home for some post-guest washing and sorting and siesta for the grown-ups and creating this for the kidlings.

Followed by swimming, Carl teaching Jackson poker and then an explore down the river bed in the opposite direction to town and where we always drive. Interestingly the further we headed up towards the mountain the better the track became and at times could almost be called a proper road. Most of the walk was in the shade and at around 6pm it was the perfect temperature to be out walking.

Now, dinner and a hopefully Johnny English will prove to be a tear-free** family movie. Not saying they're noisy or anything but it sure is quiet when our friends leave! I predict this last week in Spain will be quiet, chilled out and perfect for charging us up to return to London for the new term. Fingers crossed anyway!
