A visit to hospital

If I must go to a hospital then it's great that our usual local NHS one is in the location it is, surrounded by Yorkshire Dales countryside, reached with a great ride 'over the tops' as we say, at least in good weather. It's pretty good inside too, particularly in comparison with some others around. Anyway, however the building is regarded, the staff are wonderful and the specialist nurse I met for the first time today was lovely.

It seems a lifetime since I entered under the red sign on the right (in fact 2.1/2 years) and now I walk in through that strange arch in the centre. Today's news was good and I don't have to go back for 2 months, with a telephone call and no bloodletting half way to that.

And, as you see, it's a beautiful sunny day.
