Just around the corner?

Took my new knee for a walk today.  Not a bad experience and particularly pleasant in the gentle breeze and 8c sunshine.  This hedge is interesting...  Where you can see the shapes of sunlight and shadow on the right hand side, the Hawthorn leaves come out before anywhere else along the lane.  By March we'll have a banded green/brown avenue.
