Trinity Street, Cambridge.

Trinity Street lies on one of the main thoroughfares of Medieval Cambridge. It was known as Magna Strata or Hiestrata (High St) Thought to be late Saxon in origin. The street is lined it's entire length by listed buildings, most owned by Trinity or Gonville and Caius colleges. It is home to good quality shops, financial institutions, cafes and bars. The upper floors are mostly student accommodation. The road is closed to general traffic.
