Walter Scott Monument

Thought we'd copy 'EdiSteve' and do a bit of an 'informative Blip' today.  Don't you just love culture?  Lol!

The 'Walter Scott Monument' commemorates Sir Walter Scott who was one of Scotand's greatest novelists.  He was born on the 15 August 1771 and died on 21 September 1832.

There are 287 steps to the top where there are views of Edinburgh and beyond.
