CLAMPS

In the bad old days, to glue the "kerf" (the white basswood supports) to the sides of a guitar we used to use clothes pegs. These days we use these brilliant mini-clamps which are much more powerful & a pleasure to employ.

We probably have over 400 clamps in the workshop ranging from these mini-chaps to giants with jaws a metre wide.

For pedants - white basswood derives from Tilia Heterophylla, a species of lime tree native to the eastern states of North America...

Clamps are us :o)
