Cold feet

As so many of them lately, this was another entirely grey day. Today also felt considerably colder because of the icy wind we were having. The only birds I saw on my walk home from visiting the pet store after work were a few gulls standing on the ice and I couldn't help wondering whether they ever get cold feet.
