the beautiful thing about roses is this - they stay beautiful long after the 'life' in them is gone

have you noticed that with roses? - or do you pitch them once they've sort of withered up a bit - and you think 'oh, okay that's it, they've lived as long as they're going to' - if that's the case, you've been missing out on fabulous beauty - in these blossoms, at least in my humble opinion - it's my firm belief not only roses - but many flowers, can last much longer than just several days or a week - if we but treat them with tender care - sometimes depending on the flower - that tender care almost appears like ignoring truth be told

but with roses if you allow them to gently dry out - they can still have the appearance of brand new blooms - it's rather remarkable really - i mean look at this fine specimen here - it's nearly 2 weeks old yet looks as though i just brought it home - that makes me smile, gives me great joy - and by far, oh yes, has led to...
