Caiman Lizard

I had half an hour to spare between driving jobs this morning so went over to Chester Zoo (again). Sensibly most of the animals were indoors so I went over to the Tropical House where it was nice and warm and where I knew the reptiles would have some lighting.

The three caiman lizards were asleep but one briefly opened its eyes to see what was going on. These lizards come from the Amazon rainforest and live in flooded forests and swamps
