More Burns

Wee B and I came across this plaque today walking through Sciennes on our way back from The Sick Kids. It seemed like quite a coincidence, as the plaque is very high up on the facade of this house and we just happened to look up at the right time.

The plaque commemorates the meeting of Robert Burns and Sir Walter Scott in the Winter of 1786-87.

I wonder what they talked about.

There was also a very small Jewish burial ground just opposite. An interesting area to wander through.
