Great Blue Heron

Today I was out before light and headed to the Salmon Creek Trail, I was ready to see that owl or the coyote.  It was a little bit warmer, but drizzling.  Between the drizzle and the early hour I was somewhat light challenged.  I did not see the owl or the coyote, but I'm pretty sure I found the tree the owl sometimes sits in.  I will keep an eye on it.  I went further down the trail to the pond and took photos of the heron.  I heard quite a bit of slashing and looked around and saw an otter.  I had fun trying to photograph him, but nothing really good.  I had very fun time, much better than walking around the subdivision streets.
