Missing Mo

Today I've been missing Mozart, my favourite owl at the Castle. This photo is from 16th September when I flew him. He's a beautiful European Eagle Owl currently in moult, when the falconers feed the bird up to drop his feathers for a beautiful new coat.

I spoke to his mummy, falconer Hannah, this evening and she tells me he should be out of moult very soon. I've requested Mo as my Valentine's Day date. After all I know that Mo will never break my heart!
