Historical Bergen, Norway

Finnegården is a part of Bryggen and is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building is from about 1702.

Bergen was an important trading centre for Hanseatic merchants. They had almost complete monopoly in the trade of stockfish and fish oil from  1360-1754.

It's been great to walk in the same streets as my ancestors who lived and worked in the city in mid 1700. One worked at Bryggen, and others worked as shoemakers some streets away from this building (extra)

Thanks for all the comments, stars and hearts on my view blip! Much grateful for your generosity!
