Rev James...!

It's been a somewhat rainy day so we decided to go out for a pub lunch at "The Church House" at Sutton, near Macclesfield. My Cajun Chicken was delicious.

We were intrigued by the name of one of the beers: "Rev James"-  so of course I had to try it. (Only a half as I was driving...) It didn't disappoint me with its "rich, warming" promise. The effect was slightly spoilt however by it being served in a Guinness glass!

(Note: Son#1's wedding ceremony a year past May was conducted by a Rev James [not a genuine Rev, he bought his Rev certificate on-line!] so this was doubly amusing to us.)
