Little Red Boat

A breakfast rendezvous at Budd's this morning - a very pleasant way to start the day with some seriously crunchy granola and strong coffee. Later a quick trip down to the Kitchen  - a bit of sunshine between the hail-filled showers. Later still,  some work in the garden , much needed clearing around some trees which were engulfed by bracken and briars.  The first crocus and snowdrop spotted too.

Manchester by the Sea - devastatingly well acted, and a sadness that lingers. Recommended. Also worth seeing is Jackie - an incredible performance from Natalie Portman and a glimpse into a stifling world.
