Orchid & rain.....

My daughter has nurtured this Orchid over the Winter and at last her efforts have been rewarded.  I must admit to having no faith...... it has three buds!  Still coughing and spluttering but able to get out and do "errands"..... these would be taking daughter number three to a) pick up her car from the pub car park after the night before and b) take her to another pub to collect the phone she managed to leave there......  having felt a bit fed up the previous evening, she was invited out to her local where one thing led to another and she arrived back at 2 a.m in a taxi unable to get out of the car.  My husband slung on his trainers, helped her out and collected her belongings meanwhile, she stepped backwards into the kerb and promptly fell in the bushes wearing her brand new pale Hobbs coat that she bought in the sale.  I should not laugh.... but!
