My Shanghai potsticker dumplings started things off nicely (I say 'my', came from the Land of Fish and Rice book...), Mel now taking care of some red braised sea bass. Year of the Rooster. The picture is a serendipitous permanent fixture.


Earlier in the day, after a productive morning of 'stuff', the afternoon's RSPB garden birdwatch brought some great results, and then ten minutes before the end everything scarpered as a Sparrowhawk (in the extras) appeared, with an unsuccessful hunt, and then sat surveying the territory from above.
