Eerie Tower

Kirkgate Park, Kinross, Tayside, Scotland.

Local legend has it that this tower was built as a lookout to protect the graveyard (behind the trees) from grave robbers.

When I was just a nipper (many, many moons ago) the Wombles made a public appearance at a fair at this park, and they used the tower as their dressing room.
I bet they never told Uncle Bulgaria about its original purpose.
