Caged Animal

I felt like one today as I sat down to a mountain of paperwork.  But I bet animals don't get to feel smug at the end of the day. Don't get me wrong, I didn't spend the whole day at the paperwork.  I had time to visit a favourite cafe for a favourite scone to nearly finish a good book that I only started last weekend.  It's finished now.  

When I did break for a walk with Mowgli it was weirdly wonderfully peaceful after all the rain. One extra of a hairy friend.
