Upgrade :)

Yeah!. Had a night away in Cardiff.

Booked into a standard room, and my loyalty membership meant I was entitled to a free upgrade.

So it should have gone to a superior room. Not sure if they were all taken, but either way we got upped again to a Privilege room!

Cracking views on the morning - although a window cleaner would not have gone amiss!

Didn't really do much on either Friday night or Saturday morning, but it was so nice to be able to do "not much" without the kids.

After shopping, caught up with an friend from Uni days, then off to watch Hartlepool play Newport.
Unfortunately pools clearly didn't realise it was my first game of the season, as they failed to turn up. Awful game, with us having 2 shots on goal (not that I can recall the first one), with the second on 93 minutes earning a consolation goal.

I've added an extra of the old severn bridge, taken whilst zooming across the new bridge at 70mph.

Would like to try again with the Nikon, but the Ixus gave it a valiant attempt!
