One minute after
We attended a farming meeting today looking at how we can begin to prepare ourselves for the brave new post-Brexit world.
Unfortunately the Brexit Minister was unable to attend at the last minute, but we had Jonnie Hall from the NFUS who gave an interesting keynote speech. Amongst other things we looked at Resilience, the Public Good; Environmental issues (thank you Mother Shipton, and it was great to catch up with you at lunchtime!). In the afternoon we talked about cross compliance issues and various grassland issues out in a field beside the Glenforsa airstrip, with a lovely view up the Sound of Mull - quite nice to have a bit of fresh air in the middle of the day..before winding up with thoughts from the floor about the threats and opportunities which will be fed back to the Brexit Minister and the NFUS. All in all an interesting and thought provoking day.
I took this one minute after midnight, on my way to bed last night - this morning. A diffuse aurora in the distance with teenage bedroom light softly lighting up the snowdrops.
