Mono Mumsy.

This my first mono Monday effort, though to be fair just about everything outside is mono today. This is my mum, Moira, aged 6/7 or so, just before the outbreak of WW2. Mum is still with us, now aged 84. Her short term memory is none too good these days, but she can remember in great detail, life at the time of the above pic. I asked her what it was like in the war, the bombing and all. She said, 'it was really exciting, we got loads of days off school!'
