A pretty stray bloom on the end of a straggly branch - just begging to have its photo taken.

I've had 2 phone calls from EQC (a miracle in itself) saying that they're paying out the cash settlement for finishing the front door, plus twinning the keys for that door and the garage door.
As if that wasn't enough, I was also told that the Variation Orders, for the 5 jobs still to be done, have been issued. So, it shouldn't be long now. I'd better not start counting the chickens yet though! But any progress is good progress. 
I wonder if it'll be done by February 22 2017 - that'll be 6 years after the first quake that started the damage to my house.
