#bass- old instructional books

My son has taken up the bass and mentioned the legendary Carol Kaye. I said I would look out a couple of books by her. I have yet to find them but did come across these from the mid 60s! The 'Bass Guitar Method' on the right includes advice on amps and advocates a 25w model? My current rig is 600w and probably far more efficient. Times change..
