Mellow Yellow

There's a tiny clump of winter aconites which are always first to bloom in the woods by the River Alne. It was getting a bit dark when I went out to take a photo of them and I had to use flash so it's a bit unsubtle, and not mellow at all. They're a real harbinger of spring I feel.
