...over the Wooler Water at Haugh Head ford - walked a short way up the lane there with MrM and Louie this afternoon. Cold, damp and grey, one of those winter days when it never gets properly light.

Spent ages today sorting out documents and filling in forms for a GAP claim for the car (insurance that tops up the amount offered by your insurance company to the original price paid). So complicated that I can't help thinking that the whole process has been designed to put you off submitting the claim!

The rest of the day has been spent pottering aimlessly...
